Israeli occupation forces open fire on Palestinian farmers in Gaza

June 06, 2022

Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Palestinian shepherds and farmers south and middle of the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
The sources added that terrorist Israeli soldiers stationed at military watchtowers along the Gaza perimeter fence in the southern and middle Gaza Strip opened random fire on Palestinian farmers working on their farms. No injuries were reported.
Gaza, a densely populated area, has been under a hermetic Israeli occupation siege since 2006 when Hamas won the democratic legislative elections in occupied Palestine. Since then, it has carried out numerous bombing campaigns and several major offensives that resulted in the death of thousands of defenseless Palestinians.
Colonial Israeli forces routinely target Palestinian farmers, even though this constitutes a blatant violation of international agreements and human rights.
