Israeli occupation authorities transferred the body of a Palestinian they killed in Al-Khalil in January of this year, to his family for burial.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation authorities handed the corpse of Faleh Mousa Jaradat, 39, to his family through the al-Jalama military roadblock, east of Bethlehem city.

Jaradat was fatally shot by Israeli occupying soldiers on January 17, 2022, at the Gush Etzion junction, north of Al-Khalil, after he allegedly attempted to “stab a soldier,” an allegation that could not be verified.

The occupying forces then took his corpse in the act of collective punishment and refused to transfer it back to the families until Saturday.
