Israeli occupation naval forces attack fishermen in Gaza

July 19, 2022

Israeli occupation navy ships attacked, on Tuesday morning,  many Palestinian fishing boats in the northern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses said the occupation navy ships fired many live rounds at the fishing boats and chased them near the shores of the Al-Waha and As-Sudaniyya areas, in addition to Jabalia and Beit Lahia.

The occupying naval forces also fired many high-velocity gas bombs and used water cannons, forcing the fishermen to leave without being able to fish to provide for their families.

Last Saturday, Israeli occupying soldiers fired many automatic live rounds and gas bombs at Palestinian farmers and shepherds east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The attacks are part of constant Israeli occupation violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the seizure of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
