On Friday, Israeli occupation soldiers injured 56 Palestinians, including 17 children, near the Huwwara military roadblock, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Dozens of Palestinians marched near the Huwwara military checkpoint chanting against the escalating Israeli violations, ongoing occupation, and illegal colonialist activities before the occupying soldiers attacked them with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Ahmad Jibril, a Palestinian official in Nablus, said the occupation soldiers caused fifty-six Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Jibril added that 28 of the wounded Palestinians, including 17 children under the age of five, suffered the severe effects of tear gas inhalation while their parents were driving in the area when the occupying soldiers fired a barrage of gas bombs and concussion grenades at random.
The medics provided the needed medical treatment to all wounded Palestinians and transferred a young man, 18 years of age, to a hospital.
