On Monday evening, Israeli occupation soldiers injured many Palestinians in Sebastia town and Burqa village, northwest of occupied Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Mohammad Azem, a Palestinian official, said several Israeli occupation jeeps invaded the town leading to protests.

The occupying soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, gas bombs, concussion grenades, and rubber-coated steel bullets, causing several injuries, Azem added.

He also added that the Israeli occupation soldiers also invaded Burqa village, leading to confrontations that resulted in the injury of several Palestinians who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation soldiers frequently invade Sebastia to accompany groups of colonialist settlers into the archaeological area.
