Israeli occupation navy ships fired live rounds at Palestinian fishing boats near the shores of Rafah and Khan Younis in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Local sources said the Israeli occupation naval forces chased Palestinian fishing boats near the shore of Khan Younis and fired many live rounds and flares.

They added that the navy ships also attacked fishing boats with flares, live rounds, and gas bombs near the shore of Rafah. No injuries were reported but the Palestinian fishermen were forced to leave, fearing further Israeli violations.

The attacks are part of constant Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the siezure of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
