On Monday morning, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, surrounded the house of Omar Zakarneh, and shot and abducted him.

Local sources said Israeli occupying soldiers forced Zakarneh's family out of the house where he was located to pressure him to turn himself in amid heavy gunfire at the house.

The Israeli invading soldiers then shot Zakarneh and abducted him. His health condition is not known, the sources added.

Meanwhile, violent confrontations erupted in the vicinity of the house between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupying soldiers, who shot and injured six of them before being transferred to a local hospital.
