A young Palestinian man succumbed this early morning to wounds he sustained a few days ago after Israeli occupation soldiers shot him in Jenin.

Local sources said the Palestinian, Hamad Mustafa Abu Jelda, 24, from Jenin refugee camp, was shot and seriously injured by the Israeli occupation forces' fire after dozens of military vehicles invaded Jenin city and its refugee camp.

He underwent several surgeries due to the seriousness of his wounds; he remained in a coma at the Intensive Care Unit until he was pronounced dead.

Abu Jelda is married and his wife is expecting a baby. He was named after his uncle, Hamad, who was killed by the Israeli occupation soldiers in 1992 in Jenin.
