Israeli occupation's navy ships attacked this morning Palestinian fishing boats in the Gaza territorial waters near the shores of the northern and southern parts of the besieged coastal enclave.

Local sources said the occupation's naval forces attacked Palestinian fishing boats with live fire and water cannons and chased them to the shore of Beit Lahia in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

They added that the occupation's navy ships also chased and fired live rounds at Palestinian fishing boats near the shores of Khan Younis and Rafah, in the southern parts of the coastal region.

The navy ships also surrounded several fishing boats before forcing them to return to the shore, the sources added.
