Spokesperson for the Hamas Movement Hamas Abd al-Latif al-Qanou expressed Hamas’ full solidarity with Palestinian cancer-stricken detainee Nasser Abu Hmaid who is subjected to deliberate medical negligence by Israeli occupation authorities.

Al-Qanou confirmed that the Israeli occupation’s deliberate medical negligence against sick Palestinian detainees is a crime against humanity.

The Hamas spokesperson called on human rights and humanitarian organizations and all local and international bodies to break their silence and pressure the Israeli occupation to release Abu Hmaid from jail.

The issue of Palestinian detainees will remain a top priority for Hamas and the Palestinian resistance, he stressed.
