Israeli occupation authorities forced on Saturday evening a Palestinian citizen of occupied Jerusalem to self-demolish his home.

According to local sources, the Palestinian family had to demolish their home located in the Wadi al-Jouz area in occupied Jerusalem, to avoid exorbitant fines imposed by the Israeli occupation if they carried out the demolition.

Furthermore, the Israeli occupation municipality in occupied Jerusalem refused to grant the family of Haj Yahia a construction license and threatened to impose much harsher fines in addition to "legal" prosecution, including detention.
