Israeli occupation naval forces opened fire late Monday on Palestinian fishermen's boats sailing off the southern Gaza Strip shores, local sources said.

The sources added that machine guns mounted on Israeli occupation boats opened fire on the Palestinian fishermen's boats off Rafah shores. No injuries were reported.

Palestinian fishermen are subjected to daily attacks by the Israeli occupation forces, including shootings, detentions and damaging fishing gear, as part of the Israeli policy of frightening the Palestinian fishermen and affecting their livelihoods.
