Israeli occupation forces assassinated a Palestinian resistance fighter in Nablus Saturday late at night when an explosive device they attached to a motorbike detonated in Nablus’s Old City, local sources reported.

In a statement, Lion’s Den, a Palestinian resistance group, confirmed that Israeli occupation forces had planted the bomb and vowed to avenge his killing.

Video footage circulating online showed a motorbike parked off an alley in the Old City exploding when the Palestinian martyr had passed by.
