The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas strongly condemned the attack that targeted a religious shrine in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz, leaving many dead and injured.

The movement offered its sincere condolences to and solidarity with the President and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the families of the victims, praying to Allah Almighty to have mercy on the victims and grant the injured a speedy recovery.

Three armed men entered the Shah Cheragh Shrine on Wednesday evening, unleashed a rampage inside, and indiscriminately fired on worshippers who gathered at the shrine.
