Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot dead a Palestinian man on Wednesday after an alleged run-over attack near a military checkpoint west of the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Hebrew-language media outlets claimed that a colonial soldier was injured and admitted to hospital after a Palestinian man rammed his car into him.

The outlets added that the IOF opened fire towards the man identified as Habbas Rayyan, 54, killing him on the spot.

Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank suffer from almost daily attacks by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, resulting in many injuries and martyrs among them.
