Israeli occupation forces assault Palestinians, injure many in Qalqilia

Israeli occupation forces assaulted the weekly anti-occupation activity in Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the northern occupied West Bank city of Qalqilia, and injured four Palestinians and a foreign peace activist.

The Palestinians marched from the center of the village, chanting against the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestine, colonial settlement expansion, and the dangerously escalating violations.

The occupation soldiers attacked the protesters with live bullets, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas canisters, and concussion grenades.

The Palestinians have been holding weekly activities in Kufur Qaddoum for the last eighteen years, demanding the Israeli occupation authorities to reopen the village’s main road they blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim colonial settlement built on stolen Palestinian lands.
