In wide-range detention raid, Israeli occupation detains 20 Palestinians

November 07, 2022

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained this early morning twenty Palestinian civilians in a large-scale detention raid in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation detentions were concentrated in the cities of Nablus, Jenin, and Qalqilya in the northern occupied West Bank, as well as Al-Khalil in the south, Ramallah in the center, and Tubas in the east.

The IOF usually conducts nightly raids and detention campaigns against defenseless Palestinians and transfers them to detention centers or jails in the occupied territories.

It is worth mentioning that the number of Palestinian detainees in the Israeli occupation jails until the end of last September amounted to about 4,700, including 30 female detainees, about 190 minors, and 800 administrative detainees, according to Palestinian detainees’ affairs' institutions.
