Al-Qassam Website - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened live fire on and fired gas canisters at Palestinian farmers and fishermen in Khan Younis and Rafah, in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the IOF stationed across the perimeter fence east of Khan Younis and Rafah governorates fired many live rounds and high-velocity gas bombs at the farmers.

No injuries were reported, yet the farmers had to flee the area, the sources added.

Earlier Wednesday, the Israeli occupation naval forces attacked Palestinian fishing boats with live fire and high-velocity gas bombs near the shores of Rafah and Khan Younis, forcing them out.
