Al-Qassam Website - An Israeli colonial settler was shot dead on Monday after a shooting operation took place in the occupied West Bank city of Jericho.

Local sources reported that an Israeli colonist was killed when a Palestinian freedom fighter allegedly opened fire on him in occupied Jericho.

This operation came hard on the heels of the pogrom carried out by terrorist Israeli settlers in Huwwara town in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

On the heroic operation in occupied Jericho, Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif Al-Qanoua said it "comes as a retaliation to the Israeli occupation forces and colonial settlers' escalating crimes against the Palestinian people".
