The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has condemned the approval by the so-called Israeli Knesset of a bill that would allow Israeli colonial settlers to return to illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank from which they were evacuated as a step towards establishing new colonial settlements and seizing and Judaising Palestinian lands.

Hamas added: "This crime, which follows the Sharm el-Sheikh security summit, reaffirms the fascism of the Israeli occupation authorities; therefore, we call on the Palestinian Authority to cut all forms of security collaboration with the Israeli occupation state and side with the Palestinian people in their quest for freedom."

The resistance movement also called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility to stop the settler-colonial occupation violations and racist policies, which starkly breach international law and relevant UN resolutions.
