Al-Qassam Website - The Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades has announced that during a training mission for its Air Forces on Monday morning, the Israeli occupation warplanes targeted a Shihab-type drone belonging to the Qassam Brigades in the southern airspace of the Gaza Strip.

In response, the al-Qassam air defence immediately targeted the attacking aircraft with a number of surface-to-air missiles.

The military wing of Hamas has been developing its drone capabilities in recent years and has a range of drones in its arsenal. The Brigades has also showcased various types of drones, including the Shihab and Ababil drones, and demonstrated a willingness to innovate and adapt to modern warfare tactics.
