Al-Qassam Website - The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has slammed the decision taken by the Israeli occupation government to legalise 70 new illegal colonial settlements and outposts in the occupied West Bank as a "continuation of the unabated settler-colonial aggression against our occupied Palestinian territories."
Member of Hamas Political Bureau Ali Baraka said that such a move contravened all regional and international resolutions and calls demanding an end to the illegal Israeli settlement activities.
In a press statement Saturday, the Hamas official urged the Palestinian people to unify their efforts to confront Israeli colonial settlers and the Israeli occupation army and protect their homeland and holy sites.
"These settler outposts will join nine settlements that were legalised last February, a move that is deemed blatant persistence in targeting our occupied land, appropriating our Palestinian people's resources, and controlling their infrastructure," Baraka said
