GAZA, Aug 26 - 14 Palestinians have been wounded and others suffocated when the Israeli occupation forces broke up a peaceful march eastern the Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.
The occupation forces opened fire on peaceful marchers in Gaza who were protesting against the continuation of the blockade of the Strip and the closure of the crossings leaving 14 Palestinians injured, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced.
The occupation forces fired tear gas canisters trying to drive the Palestinian demonstrators who had gathered on the Gaza Strip borders away. They were protesting against the continuation of the siege on Gaza and the closure of the crossings, trying to reach the separation fence.

The Israeli forces used drones loaded with tear gas to confront Palestinian protesters in Khan Yunis before they approached the fence.
They also had sent more military reinforcements to the border area with the Gaza Strip at Khan Yunis.
The occupation’s military command had issued an update to the shooting instructions following a security assessment, permitting the shooting of every Palestinian who approaches the border, “Israel” Radio reported.
These developments come in parallel to a festival organized by Palestinian factions in the eastern area in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian people's options will remain open to pressure the Israeli occupation until the Palestinians’ demands have been achieved and the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip has been completely broken, Hamas spokesperson said.
“The Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip have the right to live in dignity on their land,” Hamas spokesman, Abdul Latif al-Qanou, stressed in a statement.
The occupation forces’ warplanes have bombed sites in Gaza last Saturday after confrontations between Israeli forces and Palestinian unarmed demonstrators at the Gaza border. As a result, dozens of injuries were recorded, one of them seriously, for a 13-year-old boy.
