Israeli occupation aircrafts launch new air strikes on Gaza Strip

August 29, 2021

Gaza, Aug 29 - The Israeli occupation aircraft launched, after midnight on Sunday, three raids on different areas of the Gaza Strip, escalating its multi-form aggression. No injuries were reported.

Earlier on Saturday evening, Palestinian youths from the "Night Confusion Unit" marched on the eastern border of the strip, denouncing the continuation of the siege on Gaza.

11 Palestinian demonstrators were injured during the occupation forces’ attack on the demonstration, the Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip announced.

The occupation forces fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at demonstrators who approached the security fence eastern the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian youth responded by throwing stones, fireworks, and sound bombs at the occupation forces.

The march was organized upon calls from Palestinian youths to gradually escalate protests at the separation fence, as part of the so-called "night confusion activities" calling for the lifting of the Israeli siege on Gaza.

The "Night Confusion" is a group of young men who organize night marches near the Gaza eastern borders, and uses sound bombs and ignites tires intending to disturb the occupation soldiers and the nearby illegal settlements.

Since last May, the Israeli occupation has significantly restricted the entry of goods into the Gaza Strip, which has exacerbated the economic crises in the Strip.

The occupation refuses to allow the reconstruction of what it destroyed during its last aggression on the Gaza Strip last May and links this to prisoners’ swap deal which is unacceptable by Hamas.
