18 Palestinians Injured by IOF in Gaza Night Confusions Activities

Gaza, Aug, 30 - 18 Palestinians were injured, yesterday evening, Sunday, as the occupation forces fired bullets and tear gas canisters at the demonstrators participating in the “Night Confusion” activities for the second night in a row near the separation fence eastern Gaza Strip.

According to the Ministry of Health, a Palestinian demonstrator was moderately injured by live ammunition, and others by tear gas and various shrapnel. 

The occupation used “quadcopter” aircraft to launch a barrage of tear gas canisters at the demonstrators in the Abu Safiya area, east of Jabalia, leaving many suffocated.

Many Palestinian protestors were directly hit by the gas canisters, while some paramedics were injured trying to treat the wounded young men, medical sources indicated.

Hundreds of Palestinian youths participated in the Night Confusion activity organized in the Abu Safiya area east of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Night confusion units called on the young men yesterday to go to the Abu Safiya area to start the night confusion activity at exactly eight o'clock yesterday evening. The young men went to the area and ignited tires, as an expression of their rejection of the continuation of the Israeli siege of Gaza.

The occupation fired light and gas canisters extensively towards the demonstrators using a quadcopter leaving a number of them, including a paramedic injured.

It is noteworthy that a similar event was organized on Saturday evening in the Malaka area east of Gaza, during which the young men ignited tires, as an expression of their rejection of the continuation of the Israeli siege of the Strip.
