Operations Summary: The Week from July 10-16, 2006

After 3 Weeks of Operations and Brutal Bombardment, Occupation Forces Fail to Achieve any of their Declared Objectives

 

In the week from July 10-16, 2006, Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades continued its resistance campaign against occupation forces attacking the Gaza Strip. A total of 39 resistance missions were announced during the week. Al-Qassam Brigades proved the futility of the occupation operation by firing 52 Qassam rockets at enemy target outside the Gaza Strip. Ten rockets hit the occupied city of Asqalan; and 16 rockets hit the settlement of Sderot. In addition, Al-Qassam mujahideen fired 26 mortars, 7 Yassin rockets, 1 RPG, and 1 Battar rocket at occupation armored vehicles in and around the Gaza Strip. 

 

Five mujahideen were martyred during the week.
