Statement of Condolence on the Assassination of Khamenei, Iranian Leaders

With pride and honor, the leadership of the Ezzeddin Al-Qassam Brigades mourns the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and a number of political and military leaders:

-Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh – Iranian Minister of Defense

-Ali Shamkhani – Secretary of Iran's Supreme Defense Council

-Major General Mohammad Pakpour – Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)

-Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi – Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, who were killed in a brutal Israeli-American attack on Iran.

The martyred leader Khamenei was the central backer of the Axis of Resistance and of Palestinian fighters, as Iran’s long-term support for Palestinian resistance — particularly the Al-Qassam Brigades — came under his direct leadership and helped develop its capabilities and tactics, that eventually culminated in the outstanding performance in the "Al-Aqsa Flood".

The slain leaders knew their support for Palestine would come at a cost but continued anyway, supporting with blood, not just words, and defying the Zionists and their main backer, America, to join a great group of martyred leaders and fighters who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Allah and on the path to Jerusalem.

We are fully confident that these losses will not break the determination of Iran, its armed forces, or Revolutionary Guard, but would rather strengthen their resolve until they exert a heavy price from the Zionists for their crimes against our Ummah and massacres against our Palestinian people.
