Abu Obaida: No Voice Above the Voice of Resistance

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds. He has commanded unity among believers in the face of the disbelievers. "The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief".

It is clear that in recent years we have entered a decisive phase in the history of this nation—a turning point on the path toward restoring its dignity and rightful place among nations, and ending the occupation and domination imposed on its lands, sacred sites, and people. The Muslim world is witnessing one of the most intense and brutal assaults, during which fighters, leaders, and civilians alike have sacrificed their lives and everything they possess as proof of their sincerity and commitment.

We are facing military aggression and blatant lawlessness that violates international agreements and basic human values. This aggression seeks to strip people of their will, resources, and right to choose their way of life and system of governance. It comes with force to impose social, religious, and cultural changes—aiming to reshape beliefs, weaken the unity of the Muslim world, and secure lasting dominance in the region, while diverting attention away from central causes, foremost among them the issue of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Following the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, and the most horrific massacres of modern history—whose chapters are still unfolding—the aggression has now expanded further, dragging its patrons into war, seeking security yet reaping fear. It calls for an illusion of peace through brute force, spreading destruction across an entire region already afflicted by its existence. Its harm has not stopped there; its repercussions are now visible across the world, bringing instability and turmoil on every level. The primary and sole cause of this has been the reckless and unjustified war into which the Zionists have plunged not only the region, but the world. Their brutality was not indulged by the massacres in Gaza, nor by the bombardment of Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria, nor even by targeting the sisterly state of Qatar while it was making sincere and strenuous efforts to mediate an end to the war. Instead, they launched a treacherous and savage aggression against the Islamic Republic during the midst of deceptive negotiations, in full coordination and conspiracy with the United States, and followed it with further aggression against Lebanon, preceded by months of violations—striking at every supposed principle of international law, which appears designed only to be enforced upon the weak and oppressed, while serving the interests of tyrants.

Now the reality of this temporary entity has been laid bare before the people of the nation. Its weakness and total dependence on external support have become evident—a support that will not remain indefinitely at its disposal. Its image has deteriorated even in the eyes of its allies; it no longer represents a successful project as an advanced colonial outpost in the region, nor the moral facade that was once promoted as the region’s only democracy. Today, it is clear to any discerning observer that it is a fragile and transient entity—one that has failed to integrate despite continuous support, and failed even to maintain a false moral image. It is now widely seen as a source of tension.

Amid all these rapid developments and the deafening global silence, the biased world—marked by double standards—is heard only when demanding further concessions from the Palestinians and the implementation of the second phase of the Gaza agreement, while ignoring the occupation’s clear violations and its failure to uphold any of its commitments. This is evident in its continued targeting of civilians and civil police forces to create a security vacuum and spread chaos, in turning the so-called “yellow line” into a death trap for innocents, in restricting the flow of humanitarian aid and shelter supplies, and in keeping the Rafah crossing closed to the wounded and travelers—while subjecting even those few allowed to pass to severe suffering at the hands of its forces. Its aggression has further escalated to the point of closing Al-Aqsa Mosque and preventing worshippers from performing prayers during the blessed month of Ramadan and beyond, as well as advancing, with blatant brutality, a law permitting the execution of prisoners in violation of all human norms. At the same time, it continues to impose a de facto annexation of the West Bank, unleashing settlers to spread corruption and violence.

To our steadfast Palestinian people, to our great nation, and to the free people of the world: We, in the Ezzeddin Al-Qassam Brigades, in light of these major and accelerating developments and the reality faced by our steadfast people and our Arab and Muslim nation, affirm the following:

First: To our resilient people in Gaza—your extraordinary patience in enduring displacement, life in tents, poverty, and hardship, following your historic steadfastness in the face of genocide, will not be in vain, by God’s will. You have set an example for the entire nation and written, with your blood, a lasting lesson. It has become clear that even a heavily armed and supported power can be defeated once its shield is stripped away, and when the seemingly weaker side gathers its strength and resolve. What the enemy is attempting to impose today on the Palestinian resistance and the people of Gaza through mediators is extremely dangerous. The Palestinian side has fulfilled its obligations with integrity and responsibility, out of respect for our people’s interests, for the mediators’ efforts, and to deny the occupation any pretext. What is required now from our brothers, out of their moral and religious duty, is to pressure the entity to complete its commitments in the first phase before discussing the second, and to hold the biased U.S. administration accountable, since it is the enemy that is obstructing the agreement—as confirmed by United Nations and international reports. As for raising the issue of disarmament in this crude manner, it is nothing but a transparent attempt to continue killing and genocide against our people—something we will never accept. We affirm that what the enemy failed to gain through tanks and destruction, it will not obtain through politics or at the negotiating table.

Second: The occupation’s aggression against our people, its continued and unprecedented closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshippers, and the passage of a law permitting the execution of Palestinian prisoners, are a stain of shame on those who remain silent or fail to act. It reflects a grave disregard for this generation of Muslims and for a nation of two billion persons.

O youth of Islam, the site of your Prophet’s night journey is crying out as never before and stands at risk if it does not find those who will defend it. Your imprisoned men and women—free people now oppressed—whom your faith obliges the entire nation to stand for and secure their freedom, call upon your sense of honor and dignity. From this land that has given everything it possesses, that has embraced the bodies of its sons within it for the sake of its sacred trust, and that has, through immense sacrifice, broken the chains of thousands of prisoners—we call upon the masses of our Palestinian people in the West Bank, in Jerusalem, and within the occupied territories to move toward Al-Aqsa Mosque.

We also call upon the masses of the Muslim world and all free people to take to the streets and continue public protests in squares and in the vicinity of the occupation’s embassies, in anger for Al-Aqsa and the prisoners. All forces of resistance across the nation, wherever they may be, are called upon to impose a heavy cost on the occupying power for the crime of closing Al-Aqsa, and to strive by all possible means to secure the freedom of the prisoners.

Let the enemy know that any violation of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the prisoners will not pass without consequence, no matter the cost to our people. It will carry serious repercussions for the occupying state and may become a further spark that ignites the entire region.

Third: The horrific crimes committed by the Zionist-American aggression against our brothers in the Islamic Republic—such as the massacre at the “Minab” school—serve as a reminder to the world of the genocidal crimes witnessed in Gaza. We mourn all the righteous martyrs of the Islamic Republic and its senior leaders. We follow with pride the powerful strikes carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian armed forces against targets within the entity, in places such as Tel Aviv, Arad, Dimona, and Haifa, in response to this aggression. These strikes have caused significant damage, making it taste from the same cup it once forced upon the oppressed.

We have also received with great pride the message sent by the Islamic Republic to our Palestinian people, delivered by its military spokesperson, and the dedication of certain operations to our fallen leaders. We consider the actions carried out by forces in Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, and elsewhere against the occupying power as an extension of the Al-Aqsa Flood—whose spark was ignited in Gaza—which shattered the enemy's image of invincibility and served as a response to the crimes committed against our people. We hope that these efforts will contribute meaningfully to ending the occupation and bringing about the downfall of this fragile entity.

Fourth: The brutal aggression against our brotherly Lebanon is a fully constituted crime, part of a broader assault on our nation. We affirm our solidarity with Lebanon, its people, and its resistance; we mourn its martyrs and wish a swift recovery to its wounded. We express our confidence in the resolve and strength of the fighters of Hezbollah, who have inflicted significant and humiliating losses on the Zionist enemy after it had imagined that Lebanon and its resistance would be an easy target. Peace be upon the heroes of the Lebanese resistance, and upon the soul of the martyred leader Hassan Nasrallah, whose followers continue to write epics on the battlefield, fulfilling his words in action and carrying out his warning to the occupation: “You will have no tanks left.”

We renew our call for them to turn direct engagement with the enemy into a real opportunity to capture enemy soldiers and to continue the mission begun by the Palestinian resistance in securing the freedom of Palestinian and Arab prisoners. We also extend our appreciation and gratitude to our loyal brothers in Yemen who have risen in support of Palestine and Gaza during the war of genocide and who continue to renew their support and solidarity today.

We salute every free and honorable person who has stood by our cause and by the people of Gaza in whatever way possible—from Jordan, Iraq, and across the free peoples of the world.

We also send our greetings to the masses who took to the streets on the Friday dedicated to the prisoners and Al-Aqsa in support of Palestine.

And we extend a special salute to the heart of the Levant, Syria, the birthplace of our founding leader, Ezzeddin Al-Qassam, and a historic center of the Muslim world, and to its generous people who have embraced the Palestinian resistance and refugees for decades. Today, they rise across the country to express their fury at the occupation's crimes and to reaffirm their support for Palestine, its holy sites, and its prisoners. We remain confident that a day will come when we, together with them and all the free people of our nation, will gather in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In conclusion: The escalation and the frenzied campaigns against the states and peoples of our nation signal the approaching decline and fall of this enemy. Expansion is often followed by contraction, and arrogance by collapse. We are certain that this aggression will not achieve its aims—whether through brute force or otherwise. Likewise, the illusion of normalization they seek is destined to fail. This region has always been at the heart of the world—central to its resources, trade routes, and waterways—and none will restore its dignity or govern it rightfully except its own people. Its wealth and resources are an inherent right of its people, which cannot be taken from them.

The notion of a “Greater Israel” will remain nothing more than a fantasy in the minds of transient outsiders. Yet this arrogance must serve as a warning to our nation: their plans are being carried out over the bodies of our children and the ruins of our lands, subjugating countries one after another. Beware of fragmentation and distraction by side conflicts orchestrated by enemies, while they target the sources of strength and seek to dismantle forces of resistance—the very shield that has long prevented them from achieving their ambitions. Hold firmly together and do not be divided.

And to those who imagine they can impose foreign ideas and cultures upon this nation: you do not truly understand the depth of its heritage, its civilization, and its strength—rooted in its faith and convictions, for which it is willing to sacrifice everything. You are chasing an illusion, and you will reap nothing but loss. Even if the balance of power appears to falter, our truth remains stronger than their falsehood, and our nation remains one, with a single enemy.
