On the Missing Zionist Soldier

 To our steadfast Palestinian people,

To our prisoners who are unwavering despite the suffering,

To our Islamic Nation that will never forsake resistance against modern colonialism,

 

The Occupation forces increase their aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people and their institutions, leaders, and land. In this aggression, the occupation totally missed the lessons of Operation Dispelled Illusion, and continued to act with bloated arrogance. The occupation leadership aborted numerous mediation efforts, and disregarded the outcomes reached by mediators.  

The occupation entity proved once again that it is hostage to the control and misguidance of its military and security leaders, whose hands are soaked in Palestinian blood. These leaders, whose actions serve personal considerations, totally disregard the minimum standards of humanity, even for their soldiers. These leaders fail to learn lessons from the numerous cases of missing occupation soldiers. The occupation entity has been striving for decades for information about some of them after passing up on opportunity to secure their release earlier.

Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades, Naser Salah El-Deen Brigades, and Army of Islam together with the remaining resistance factions, opted to decrease their defensive operations over the past few days. Faced with the occupation's arrogance and tyranny, Palestinian resistance factions, the Palestinian public, political parties, and official institution, whose unified position regarding this issue is greatly appreciated, hereby declare:

The enemy has opted to disregard all humanitarian considerations, and is adamant on military action and continued aggression. In light of this situation, we give the enemy till 06:00 on Tuesday, July 4, 2006, to comply with the humanitarian demands in our previous communiqué on the missing occupation soldier. The start of this implementation is by fulfilling the first item of the demands. Otherwise, we will consider the current file as closed due to the arrogance and stubbornness of the enemy's leadership. Then, the enemy will bear full responsibility for future consequences.
