200 Prisoners Striking Against Inhumane Conditions in Israeli Jails

September 03, 2019

More than 200 Palestinian prisoners in Rimon prison started an open-ended hunger strike protesting against cancerous signal jammers positioned in the occupation jails.

The hunger strikers are also calling for improving the detention conditions of the female prisoners in Al-Damoun Prison.

The Palestinian prisoners decided to start their hunger strike as occupation forces refused to achieve their demands of freedom and humane treatment.

It is noteworthy that 8 prisoners started a hunger strike earlier this month in a protest against the illegal administrative detention.

The Palestinian prisoner Huthaifa Halabia from occupied Jerusalem has been striking for the 64th day in a row.
