Al-Qassam Website - The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) have compelled a Palestinian citizen of occupied Jerusalem to personally demolish his own home on the grounds of lacking a construction permit.

Samir al-Sa'o, the owner of a home located in Beit Hanina town had to demolish his home at his own expense to avoid paying exorbitant fines should the occupation municipality carry out the demolition.

The Israeli occupation authorities employ the pretext of "lacking construction permit" to demolish Palestinian homes in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank in an attempt to stunt the Palestinian community's capacity for growth.
