Al-Qassam Website - Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has reiterated that the Palestinian people would confront the Israeli occupation blockade and expansion of colonial settlements in the occupied West Bank with steadfastness, resilience, and resistance.

In a press statement, the Hamas chief underscored that the recent violations by the Israeli occupation in the occupied West Bank, which involve kidnapping and killing Palestinian civilians, destroying homes, and proceeding with the plan to Judaise occupied Jerusalem "will not break the Palestinian people's steadfastness and resilience”.

Haniyeh added that current circumstances in the occupied West Bank render both "security" and political solutions unattainable, as the Oslo Accords have proven ineffective.

He went on to assert, "The so-called security solution that is based on the elimination and execution of Palestinians, along with the commission of atrocities throughout the occupied West Bank, will not weaken the steadfast Palestinians."

Ending the Israeli occupation of our land and holy places was the sole viable solution, Haniyeh concluded.
