Al-Qassam Website – The Israeli occupation navy has carried out a violent attack on Palestinian fishermen sailing off the northern Gaza seashore, injuring a fisherman, a local source said.

Zakariya Bakr, a Palestinian official, added that the occupation naval forces had shot and injured a Palestinian with a rubber-coated steel bullet while carrying out his profession.

Israeli occupation forces frequently target Palestinian fishermen off the besieged Gaza shore. Navy forces often shoot at boats, sometimes fatally, kidnap fishermen, destroy fishing nets, seize boats and equipment and obstruct them from carrying out their profession.
