Al-Qassam Website - The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has condemned the Israeli occupation authorities' relentless endeavours to Judaise occupied Jerusalem and alter its Arab identity.

In a press statement, Hamas said these efforts were exemplified by the occupation government's attempts to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque spatially and temporally, expand colonial settlements, demolish Palestinian citizens' homes and seize their property, and enforce Israeli curriculum in Palestinian-run schools.

Hamas emphasised that such actions "represent a grave violation of the occupied Palestinian people's rights by the settler-colonial occupation."

These discriminatory measures would not erode the occupied Palestinian capital's identity, nor would they disconnect Jerusalemites from their deep-rooted history, Hamas concluded.
