Al-Qassam Website – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire on Palestinian fishermen sailing off the Gaza shore, local sources said.

The Federation of Fishermen Committees in Gaza reported that the Palestinian fishermen, Mazen Jamil and his son Fares, were injured when the Israeli occupation navy shot at his boat.

Israeli occupation forces frequently target Palestinian fishermen off the besieged Gaza shore. Navy forces often shoot at boats, sometimes fatally, kidnap fishermen, destroy fishing nets, seize boats and equipment and obstruct them from carrying out their profession.
