Al-Qassam Website – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot dead a Palestinian citizen of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho in a violent raid this early morning.

Palestine's Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of 19-year-old Palestinian Dargham al-Akhras who was shot with a live bullet in the head by the Israeli occupation forces.

Israeli occupation special forces broke into occupied Jericho's Aqabet Jaber refugee camp and opened live fire on the Palestinians who took to the streets to defend their land and people.

This attack occurred shortly after Israeli occupation forces had carried out a raid on the refugee camp in Jenin, where they killed four Palestinians and injured over 30 others.

In a separate incident, the occupation troops stationed near the separation fence to the east of the besieged Gaza Strip opened fire on Palestinians protesting the illegal siege imposed on the coastal territory, killing a 25-year-old Palestinian and injuring many others.

Al-Akhras's martyrdom brings the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation troops and colonial settlers this year to 245, including 47 children, and eight elderly people.
