Al-Qassam Website - The Hamas Movement has slammed the mass raid by a large number of Israeli colonial settlers into Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the southern occupied West Bank city of al-Khalil, in addition to the continued Israeli violations against Jerusalem.

In a press statement, Hamas said these violations come as "part of the religious war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people".

The Palestinian resistance movement added that the Israeli occupation crimes would not grant the occupation entity legitimacy over the Palestinian territories and holy sites.

"Desecrating the holy sites and provoking the feelings of Muslims worldwide will be met with strong Palestinian resistance", Hamas reiterated.

Hundreds of Israeli colonial settlers broke into the al-Ibrahimi mosque last night and performed Talmudic rituals inside it, desecrating its sanctity and provoking the feelings of Muslims worldwide.
