Hamas: Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa remain at core of Palestinian struggle with Israeli occupation

October 01, 2023

Al-Qassam Website - The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has reaffirmed that Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque remain at the core of the continued Palestinian struggle against the Israeli colonial occupation.

In a press statement on the eighth anniversary of the Al-Quds Intifada, Hamas stressed that all attempts to Judaise, take over, or divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem would not grant the Israeli occupation any "false" legitimacy or sovereignty over them.

The Palestinian resistance movement reiterated that the escalating Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people would neither break their will, nor would they undermine their continued intifada (uprising) to end the colonial occupation.

Saluting the Palestinian detainees languishing in Israeli occupation prisons, Hamas warned the fascist Israeli occupation government against intensifying its crimes and assaults against them.

Hamas hailed the Palestinian people at home and abroad for holding onto their rights, constants, values, and identity and for defending occupied Jerusalem and its Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The movement urged the Arab and Muslim world and the free peoples of the world to step up their support for and solidarity with the just Palestinian cause.

Hamas also called on the international community to assume their political, humanitarian, and legal responsibilities towards criminalising and ending the Israeli occupation and supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle to restore their rights, liberate their homeland, and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
