Hamas strongly condemns colonial settlers' assaults on Christian pilgrims in occupied Jerusalem

October 04, 2023

Al-Qassam Website - The Hamas Movement has strongly condemned the attacks carried out by Israeli colonial settlers on Christian pilgrims en route to churches in occupied Jerusalem, as well as the justifications provided by the occupation cabinet member, Ben-Gvir.

In a press statement, Hamas said these reprehensible actions and remarks reflected the colonial occupation's racism and disrespect for religions and freedom of worship.

Hamas rejected and denounced this disrespectful behaviour and reiterated that all discriminatory practices against the Palestinian people, whether Christians or Muslims, and their holy sites were part of the fascist occupation government's relentless endeavours to impose a Jewish character on the occupied Palestinian capital.

Israeli colonial settlers have attacked and spitted on Palestinian Christian pilgrims while en route to churches in occupied Jerusalem.

Member of the Israeli occupation cabinet, the terrorist Itamar Ben-Gvir, has defended these racist assaults by stating "I still think spitting at Christians is not a criminal case".
