Al-Qassam Website _ The ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip has created a humanitarian crisis of immense proportions, marked by widespread devastation and a staggering loss of life. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the death toll has surpassed 45,553, with women and children comprising the majority of victims. The total number of casualties has reached 108,379.

A particularly egregious incident involved the Israeli occupation forces raiding and setting fire to the Kamal Adwan hospital in northern Gaza. This attack, part of the occupation’s endeavors to destroy all aspects of life in northern Gaza, resulted in the destruction of surgical departments, laboratories, maintenance rooms, emergency units, and storage areas, with the fire engulfing the entire building. Medical staff and patients and their companions were subjected to brutal treatment, including being forced to strip in the cold before being taken to an unknown destination.

Prior to the raid, terrorist Israeli forces had surrounded the hospital for several hours, demanding evacuation while simultaneously conductingbgunfire and tank shelling in the surrounding area.

As a direct consequence of this attack, the hospital has been rendered effectively out of service, severely limiting access to critical medical care in northern Gaza

Hamas has strongly condemned these actions, reiterating that the Israeli occupation military has intensified its “war of extermination” against defenseless civilians.

The movement denounced the international community's inaction as "a stain of shame" and "a resounding moral failure." Hamas held the settler-colonial occupation state and, by extension, the U.S. administration responsible for the lives of the patients and medical staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The Palestinian resistance movement have called on the international community and all active parties to break the silence and intervene to stop the ongoing genocide being perpetrated at the hands of the genocidal occupation forces.

Furthermore, Hamas has urged Arab and Islamic nations, as well as free people worldwide, to escalate their efforts, pressure governments to end the daily massacres, and amplify solidarity with the Palestinian people.
